The Clear Brook Foundation Inc.,established in 1998, brings
together donors, professionals and educators to improve community
knowledge and awareness of alcoholism and chemical dependency.
The Foundation is dedicated to providing resources on a
continual basis from which the community may gain experience,
valuable prevention information and workable solutions. The
Foundation will utilize education, school and community leadership
programs, presentations, as well as partnerships, public forums,
focus groups, and alliance with other foundations to realize its goal. |

BUILDING A STRONG COMMUNITY THROUGH EDUCATION |

A strong community leads to a successful future. The first step to
both is education. The mission of the Clear Brook Foundation Inc. is
to provide education to young people, adults and families regarding
alcoholism and chemical dependency. With strong roots in our
community and a stead fast dedication to eliminating the stigmas
usually associated with the disease of addiction, The Clear Brook
Foundation Inc. not only welcomes community involvement, but believes
it is essential to combat alcoholism and chemical dependency. The
Clear Brook Foundation Inc. will require partners who believe in its
mission. who realize the need... who are community-oriented. From
individuals to organizations; from community leaders to
professionals, involvement at all levels helps the Foundation add to
the strength of, the commitment to, and the success of our community,
now and for generations to come. |

Understanding is the result of good communication. By joining
forces with individuals, professionals, organizations and other
foundations, the Clear Brook Foundation Inc. opens the doors to
effective communication. Through these collaborative efforts, the
Foundation creates situations in which learning experiences and
shared knowledge can positively impact young people, adults and
families. By presenting seminars, public speaking engagements and
special programs, the Foundation provides common ground from which to
work. These opportunities allow the Clear Brook Foundation Inc. to
present the importance of prevention and treatment and to pinpoint
the dangers of alcoholism and chemical dependency to the community,
your school, group or business. |

EDUCATING THE FUTURE TROUGH AWARENESS |
|
The youth of today are the promise... the hope... the leaders of
tomorrow. Awareness is a vital tool for prevention of chemical
dependency. As young people progress through their school years, they
will encounter fact and fiction, peer pressure and face difficult
decisions about alcohol and drug use. Parents will be asked tough
questions whose answers may not be readily available. The Clear Brook
Foundation Inc. is committed to provide students and their families
with concise, easy to understand information which will lend a
helping hand in making well-informed decisions and alleviating some
of the pressures they will one day face. With your donation, the
Foundation offers access to resources, reaches young people and
families, helps prevent substance abuse and assists in putting lives
